Applicability of this privacy policy
This policy is applicable from December 11, 2019. GAW reserves the right to update this policy without further notice.
Who are the data subjects to which this information is addressed?
This information concerns the data subjects who have created an account with their emails address and who use our service in accordance with our Terms of Use.
The purposes and the legal basis for each processing
We process your personal data with our legitimate interest for the purpose of provide you with the Services.
We will also process your personal data for communication purposes, ie communicate directly with you as a customer or more indirect communications such as new developments or updates of our service and other updates about our company.
We may process anonymized data for the purposes of developing or improving our own or its third-party partners’ products or services. Anonymized data is data from which your identity cannot be derived.
We may as well process personal data in order to be able to comply with legal obligations, for example accounting and Market Abuse Regulation.
Recipients inside – and outside - the EU/EES
We share information globally, both internally within GAW organisation and externally with our partners in order to wholly provide the Services you are entitled to receive from what you purchased and/or otherwise is entitled to receive. Information controlled by GAW will be transferred or transmitted to, or stored and processed in the United States, China and/or other countries outside of where you live for the purposes as described in this policy. These data transfers are necessary to provide the Services set out on our website or in the Terms of Use and to globally operate and provide our Services to you. We utilise standard contract clauses approved by the European Commission, and rely on the European Commission’s adequacy decisions about certain countries, as applicable, when necessary
How long is the personal data saved?
The personal data you provide when creating an account and which we process for the purposes stated in this privacy policy will be stored “off-chain”, meaning on a conventional server not running on the blockchain. This means that the personal data concerned in this privacy policy may be subject to deletion. We will store the personal data for as long as it is necessary in pursuance of providing the service. If you delete your account and hence stop using our service, we may send you promotional messages in accordance with applicable marketing regulation. In addition to this, we will keep processing personal data necessary for the compliance of legal obligations.
What are your rights as a data subject?
You have the right to:
Access your data
You have the right to obtain from GAW a confirmation of whether or not personal data concerning you are being processed, and if that is the case, a right to access information such as, but not limited to, the purpose of the processing and the categories of personal data that GAW has concerning you.
Rectify your data
If it comes to your knowledge that certain personal data of yours which is being processed by GAW is inaccurate, you have the right to obtain a rectification and in some cases a right to have incomplete data completed.
Port your data
If the legal ground for a processing of personal data is based on either (i) consent or (ii) fulfilment of a contract between you and GAW, you have a right to receive data which you have provided us in a commonly used and machine-readable format, and have the right to transmit such data to another controller.
Erase your data
You have the right to obtain from GAW the erasure of your personal data when, for example, (i) the data no longer is necessary in relation to the purpose for which it was collected, (ii) if you objects to the processing and there are no overriding legitimate interest for the processing, or if (ii) the personal data have been unlawfully processed.
Restrict and object to certain processing of your data
You have the right to obtain from GAW the restriction of processing when, for example, (i) you contest the accuracy of the personal data, (ii) if GAW no longer needs certain data for the purposes of the processing.
You are always entitled to file a complaint with the Swedish Data Protection Authority or corresponding supervisory authority
The Swedish Data Protection Authority is an agency tasked with ensuring that people are protected against their personal privacy being violated through processing of personal data.
